If you don't remove them, Reels stick around forever. Unlike Stories, they won't vanish after 24 hours.
Quick tip from a fellow 'grammer: Your Reels will be there for the long haul unless you decide to delete them yourself.
They stay up as long as you don't take them down. Gotta love that permanence!
