Honestly, it feels like forever sometimes, but realistically, around 2 hours.
A PS3 controller typically takes about 2 hours to fully charge. Just plug it into your PS3 or a compatible charger, and you're good to go!
From my experience, it takes around 2.5 hours. Depends on the charger, though.
