The Steam Deck's battery life can be quite a rollercoaster, depending on how you're using it. If you're playing less demanding indie games or using it for streaming, you might squeeze out about 7-8 hours. But if you're aiming to tackle more graphically intense games, prepare for a shorter ride, around 2-4 hours. It's all about the balance!

Actually, it's not that black and white. I've been playing with my Steam Deck non-stop since I got it, and honestly, the battery life's been all over the place. For heavy-duty games, think 2-4 hours at best. But lighter stuff? Easily double that. Still, always keep a charger handy!

2-4 hours. That's it. Especially for the big games. Don't expect miracles.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
