How long has Rockstar been working on GTA 6?
Although Rockstar hasn't spilled all the beans, rumors and breadcrumbs suggest they've been quietly grinding on GTA 6 since around 2014. It’s like they started brainstorming right after GTA V dropped, giving fans what they didn’t know they needed yet.

2014 is the magic number. That's when the grapevine says Rockstar started piecing together GTA 6. It’s been a long road, but if it's anything like its predecessors, well worth the wait.
Honestly, feels like a millennium. But realistically, they've likely been on it since 2014. Classic Rockstar, always keeping us on our toes and waiting.
Gotta disagree with the crowd here. I think they only got serious about GTA 6 after Red Dead Redemption 2 in 2018. There’s no way they were fully on it with RDR2 cooking.
