In Magic The Gathering, there's technically no limit to the number of blockers you can declare during a single combat phase. As long as you have untapped creatures available, you can assign each of them to block incoming attackers. Remember though, multiple creatures can gang up to block a single attacker, but a single creature can't block multiple attackers unless it has a specific ability that allows it to.

Just one per attacker, unless you've got creatures with abilities that say otherwise. Some critters can block more than one attacker, but that's the exception, not the rule.

Unlimited blockers! Throw the whole squad at them if that's what your strategy calls for. Just make sure to keep track of all those combat math calculations, cause things can get pretty wild.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
