360 cards, minimum. That's enough for 8 players. Anything more is just showing off.

Honestly, there's no magic number (pun intended). It really depends on how many players you regularly host and how varied you want your drafts to be. I've seen cubes range from 180 cards for quick 2-4 player games to massive 1000+ card cubes for those who love complexity and chaos. Just start with what you love and feel free to adjust!

The number of cards in a MTG cube can vary, but a good starting point is around 360 cards. This allows for an 8-player draft without repeating cards. If you're looking to host larger drafts or just want more variety, expanding to 540 or even 720 cards is common. Remember, the goal is to have a well-balanced cube with cards that enable multiple strategies for players.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
