In Draft MTG, each player starts with three booster packs. After everyone opens their first pack, you pick one card and pass the rest to the next player until all cards are drafted. So, you'll technically start with 45 cards from the draft, but you'll only build a 40-card deck for play, which includes lands. Remember, you don't have to include all the cards you draft in your final deck!

40 cards, period. You draft around 45 but trim it down to 40 for your deck. That's the magic number for Draft!

Gotta say, drafting more doesn't mean a better deck. Focus on the 40-card goal; it's not just about quantity but the quality and synergy of your cards.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
