How many commanders can you have in MTG?
MisleadingBride路7 months agoJust one commander, unless you're getting fancy with the Partner mechanic. That's when you can pair up two commanders and lead your deck to victory with double the leadership!

In Magic The Gathering, typically you can have one commander per deck in the traditional Commander format. However, there's an exception with a twist if you're playing with a card that has the Partner ability - this lets you have two commanders if both have Partner. So, usually one, but potentially two with the right cards!
If you're not using Partner cards, you're sticking with one commander. Simple as that.
One. Always one. Unless you're in the Partner zone, then it's two. But remember, it's all about synergy.
