Getting an exact number is tough because Pokemon TCG always releases new sets, but as of my last count, there are over 10,000 unique cards. And that's not even counting the various special editions, promotional cards, or regional variations. If you're trying to collect them all, good luck—you're gonna need it!

Honestly, does it matter? There are A LOT. More than you or I can afford to collect, that's for sure. Just enjoy the game!

last i checked, it's over 10k easy. Pokemon keeps pumping out new cards so that number's always going up. If you think you're gonna catch 'em all, you better have deep pockets ;)

Over 10,000 for sure. And with new expansions dropping multiple times a year, that number's only going up. It's a collector's paradise... or nightmare, depending on how you look at it.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
