Just build up and count 'em yourself, lol. But really, it changes with world size. More room, more islands.

As someone who's spent hours skybridging from one end of the map to the other, I can tell you it's totally random. But on average, expect around 4 in a small world, 6 in a medium, and maybe 7 or 8 in a large world. It's like a treasure hunt in the sky.

The number of floating islands in Terraria can vary depending on the size of the world you're playing in! Small worlds might have between 2 to 4 islands, medium worlds can have 3 to 6, and large worlds usually feature 4 to 8. Remember, finding them is half the adventure!

It's RNG, mate. Terraria loves to keep us guessing. But don't stress too much about the number; focus on the sweet loot they hold!

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
