You can have up to four of any one card in your Pokemon TCG deck, except for Basic Energy cards, which you can have any number of. This rule helps keep the game balanced and fair for everyone playing.

Rule of thumb: 4 copies max of any card, unless it's Basic Energy. Then, it's unlimited. Keeps you from building a deck with just one powerful card and steamrolling the competition.

Nope, can't just fill a deck with 50 Pikachu cards, sorry. Max four of anything except Basic Energy. Those you can hoard like there's no tomorrow.

Just remember, four's the magic number for most cards. But if it's Basic Energy cards you're talking about, stack 'em as high as you like! No limit there.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
