The Steam Deck's power consumption can vary based on what you're doing with it. When it's running games at full tilt, it can use up to about 15 watts. However, if you're doing less intensive tasks or the device is idling, it'll use significantly less power. So, you can expect it to use anywhere from a few watts while idling up to around 15 watts when gaming hard.

Honestly, it's all over the place. But when you're gaming hard, expect it to hit that 15W mark. I've noticed it doesn't use too much power during light use or idle, which is nice.

Just gonna drop this quick fact: the Steam Deck uses up to 15W when gaming. It's pretty efficient for a portable gaming PC!

15 watts? That's too high! My laptop uses less when I game. I think the Steam Deck is overrated.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
