Old promo Pokemon cards can be worth a pretty penny, depending on their rarity, condition, and demand. For instance, highly sought-after ones like the Illustrator Pikachu or the Black Star Promo cards can fetch thousands or even tens of thousands of dollars at auctions. However, not all promos are created equal; some might only be worth a few bucks. Always check up-to-date price guides or get a professional appraisal for the most accurate valuation.

Honestly, most aren't worth the hype unless you've got one of those rare gems. Most common promo cards from way back aren't gonna fund your retirement plan, if you know what I mean.

Depends. Some of those old promo cards are basically the golden tickets of the Pokemon TCG universe. But then, there's a bunch that are more like that free flyer you get handed and immediately recycle. Do your homework.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
