Honestly, about one-third of Boruto is filler. That's both good for character development and meh for plot progression.
Too much! Skip the fillers if you want to focus on the main story.
From my experience watching Boruto, I'd say around 30% of the episodes are filler. They can be enjoyable if you like character backstories.
