It's totally worth whatever you end up paying for it btw, the amount of hours you'll sink into beautifying your village and making friends with your animal neighbors is priceless. Plus, the festivals and seasons change in real-time which keeps the game fresh.

Didn't spend a dime on it, snagged an eShop gift card by playing games on another app and got my Animal Crossing fix that way. Best deal ever!

Honestly, don't pay more than 20 bucks. There are plenty of copies floating around since it's been out for a bit. Check out used game shops or online listings.

Animal Crossing: New Leaf has been out for a while so it's price varies depending on where you get it. If you're looking at the Nintendo eShop, it could run you around $19.99. But, if you're going second-hand, prices can dip lower, especially at places like eBay or GameStop. Just make sure it's a legit copy!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
