It really depends on the mission and enemy levels. Higher-level enemies and more challenging missions give more Affinity, which translates to more XP for your gear.
Run missions with high enemy counts, like Defense or Survival. Those are XP farms for your weapons!
Honestly, don't stress too much about the exact numbers. Just have fun, and the XP will come naturally!
