Honestly, they're kinda vintage now. Started out in 1996, so you do the math. Definitely more than just a kid's game at this point. There's a serious collector's scene and a competitive player base that's been thriving for decades.

27 years and still going strong. Just shows you that some things never lose their cool.

Old enough to drink in the US! Pokemon cards hit the scene in 1996, making them over 27 years old. They've seen a lot of trends come and go, but Pokemon cards? They're forever.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
