To abandon an outpost in State of Decay 2, open the map, select the outpost you want to abandon, and choose the 'Abandon Outpost' option. Done and done!

Just go to your map, click on the outpost you wanna ditch, and hit 'Abandon Outpost.' Easy peasy.
