Just give your email connected to PayPal to the sender. They'll send you money, and you'll receive it directly into your account.
Once your PayPal account is set up, you can accept money by sharing either your PayPal email or by sending a payment request.
I've done this a bunch of times: just make sure your email is verified on PayPal. Then you share that email with people who need to send you money. Easy peasy.
