Oh, wanna snap some Hyrulian memories, huh? In Tears of the Kingdom, getting to your camera is as easy as pie. Just hit up your Sheikah Slate – yep, that handy dandy gadget Link carries around. There should be an icon that looks suspiciously like a camera; give that a tap, and you're in photography mode! Now, go capture some of those breathtaking views... or selfies with a Lynel, if you're feeling brave.

Just use the Sheikah Slate, the camera's right there. Easy.

Pro tip: Before you go on a photo-spree, make sure you've actually unlocked the camera function in the game. Some things need a bit of legwork before they become available. I learned that the hard way when I tried to photograph a particularly majestic mountain at dawn, only to realize I hadn't unlocked the camera yet. Felt like a real doofus standing there with my Sheikah Slate, waiting for something to happen.

If you're a Legend of Zelda player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
