I've been there鈥攎ake sure your character's in Over Limit, then use an Arcane or Fonic Arte while holding down the 'Attack' button. Trust me, it works!
To activate Mystic Artes in Tales of the Abyss, first, make sure your character is in Over Limit mode. Then, use an Arcane Arte or a high-level spell and hold the 'Attack' button during its execution. Boom! Mystic Artes galore!
Forget all the complicated stuff鈥攋ust be in Over Limit and hold the attack button while doing an Arcane or Fonic Arte.
Just hit over limit and hold the attack button. Mystic Artes unlocked!
