Adding a player in Animal Crossing is like inviting a new friend to your cozy virtual island getaway! If you want someone else to jump into your game on the same console, just have them press the ‘-’ button on the Switch during the game's title screen. This'll bring up the settings where they can create a new resident on your island. Remember, sharing is caring, but you'll also have to share the island's resources!

Honestly, adding a player is cool and all, but don't forget each player shares the same island and resources. It can get a bit crowded, so make sure you're ready for close quarters with your new island buddy.

Short and sweet version: You wanna add a player? Just grab a second controller, hit the '-' on the title screen, and follow the prompts to create a new character. Easy peasy!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
