Adding Animal Crossing amiibo is super easy and fun! Just power up your Nintendo Switch and boot up Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Once in the game, head over to the Nook Stop terminal in the Resident Services building. There, you'll see an option to 'Invite amiibo Camper.' Pop your amiibo figure or card onto the right Joy-Con's NFC touchpoint, and voil脿! Your chosen character will appear in your game. Make sure your game is updated though, as amiibo functionality came in a post-launch update!
Honestly, amiibos are kinda overrated. Just enjoy the game without them!
