To add friends in Splatoon 3, you'll need to be friends on your Nintendo Switch first. Just go to your Switch's home menu, select your user icon in the top left corner, then go to 'Add Friend' to search for them either locally or by their friend code! Once you're Switch friends, you're all set to ink together in Splatoon 3.
