Super easy! Open Pokémon GO, tap on your Trainer profile, then tap on the Friends tab. Hit 'Add Friend' and enter your friend's Trainer Code.
From personal experience, I can say adding friends in Pokémon GO makes the game a lot more fun! Just go to your profile, hit the Friends tab, and add a friend by entering their Trainer Code. You can also share your code and let friends add you!
