Plug in extra controllers and head to the character select screen. It'll automatically detect the new players. Happy smashing!
Easy peasy! Just go into the game settings and look for the Multiplayer option. You can add up to 6 players there.
Duck tape two controllers together and assign them to one player. Just kidding, stick to plugging them in and setting it up through the game menus.
