Unfortunately, you can't directly add a PS Plus subscription to a sub account. You'll need to ensure the master account has PS Plus, and then the sub accounts will have access to multiplayer and game benefits.

From my experience, I just kept the main account subscribed to PS Plus and all the sub accounts got the benefits without any hassle. Easy peasy!

Just make sure the master account has an active PS Plus membership. The sub accounts will automatically get the multiplayer access and game perks.
