To add someone as a friend in Animal Crossing, you gotta make sure you both have a Nintendo Switch Online subscription first. Then, one of you needs to open your gate at the airport and invite the other. Visit their island or have them visit yours! After that visit, you can add them as a best friend through the Nook Phone. Super easy and super fun to visit each other's islands!

Just visit each other's islands! Once you've done that, open up your Nook Phone in the game, go to the Best Friends app, and you'll see them there ready to be added. Simple!

lol just fly to their island or have them come to yours. Then, bam, you're practically neighbors.

Honestly, I think the game does a poor job explaining this. Had to look it up online to figure out how to add my cousin.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
