Easy peasy! First, both you and your pal gotta be online in Animal Crossing at the same time. Then, you open your NookPhone in the game, tap the Best Friends app, and voila! You can send a request to them right there. They accept, and bam! Besties in the world of cute critters and endless debts to Tom Nook.

You simply gotta be online at the same time as your friend. Then, use the Best Friends app on your NookPhone to send a request. They accept, and that's it. Friendship level: Animal Crossing.

Honestly, just keep playing and visiting each other's islands. The game will nudge you to add them as best friends after you've done a bit of virtual hanging out. It's more organic and fun that way!

Short and sweet: Be online together, use the NookPhone, become best friends. It's almost easier than real life!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
