Head over to a major spaceport or any place with a ship services technician. Access the ship builder interface and look for the utility section – you can plop those workbenches right in there!
To add workbenches to your ship in Starfield, you need to go into the ship customization menu at any ship technician or docking station. From there, select the option to modify your ship's interior, and you'll find workbenches under the 'Furniture' or 'Utility' categories.
Just go to a ship technician, use the ship builder, and choose your workbench under the utilities menu. Easy peasy!
