Attaching bait to a fishing rod in Stardew Valley Mobile is simple! First, make sure you've got the Fiberglass Rod or a better one since the basic Bamboo Pole can't use bait. Open your inventory, tap and hold the bait to pick it up, and then tap on the rod—voila, it's fishing time!

Just drag and drop, my friend. Open inventory, press and hold the bait, then drop it on your fancy rod that isn't the Bamboo Pole. Can't do it with the starter rod, so make sure to upgrade first.

Honestly, I never bother attaching bait, just seems like an extra step. Fishing's great without it!

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
