The best way to avoid getting chomped by a Reaper is to stay out of the areas they patrol, especially around the Aurora and Dunes. If you do find yourself face-to-face with one, use evasive maneuvers with your Seaglide or Cyclops to escape quickly!

Build a Stasis Rifle ASAP. Freeze those creepy Reapers in their tracks and then swim away like your life depends on it鈥攂ecause it does.

Honestly, just swim faster. Reapers are slow compared to a player with a boosted Seaglide. Jet away and don't look back.

Use the Silent Running mode on your Cyclops while in Reaper territory. It's like tiptoeing past a sleeping dragon.

First-hand experience here: I once survived a Reaper attack by spamming the Stasis Rifle and then booking it out of there with my Seaglide. Works like a charm!
