To bat as a pitcher in MLB The Show 22, make sure your game mode is set to National League rules where pitchers bat. Then, just select your pitcher from the lineup screen during the game. Easy as a bunt!

From personal experience, playing with National League rules is the most straightforward way. Once set, your pitcher will appear in the lineup. Enjoy hitting those homers!

Enable DH rules for pitchers in the settings if you want them to hit in all modes.

If you want to bat as a pitcher, switch to a National League team in Franchise or Road to the Show mode. Pitchers automatically bat in those games.

If you're a MLB The Show Companion App player looking for extra credit or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in MLB The Show Companion App essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
