Definitely gather a good team — don't try soloing a 5-star raid unless you're some kind of Poke-miracle-worker! Don't forget to use your most powerful Pokemon and revives.

Get a group together! You usually need at least 4-6 trainers with strong Pokemon to take down a 5-star raid boss. Also, exploit the boss's weaknesses with Pokemon that have type advantages.

Invite friends who are high-level because their Pokemon will be a higher CP. More trainers = better chances!

Use the right types against the raid boss. For example, if it's a Dragonite, load up on Ice and Fairy types. Matchups really matter here!

Use Pokemon with high CP and the right move sets. Timing your dodges can also help you survive longer and dish out more damage.

If you're a Pokemon GO! player looking for extra PokeCoins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Pokemon GO! essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
