Forget all that fancy stuff. Just mash buttons like your life depends on it and hope for the best鈥攕ometimes brute force works!
King's powerbomb can be brutal, but you can counter it! Try to sidestep to avoid the initial grab, and if you're caught, use a throw escape by pressing the correct throw escape button (usually 1+2 for powerbomb).
Just keep your distance and use ranged attacks. If he can't grab you, he can't powerbomb you!
