Don't worry about fancy strategies; just keep shooting his back until he freezes. Then, nail him in the face while he's frozen. Easy peasy!
Shoot the coolant pack on his back to freeze him, then when he starts to glow, shoot the tubes on his front. Rinse and repeat until he's down!
Pro tip: bring a weapon with high puncture damage to break his tubes faster. And remember, patience is key!
