Honestly, just spam jump kicks. It’s not fancy, but it works and keeps you out of his morphing nonsense.

I used to struggle with Shang Tsung until I focused on countering his morphs. When he changes forms, he's vulnerable for a split second – that's your chance to strike!

In Mortal Kombat 1, I found that being aggressive with Scorpion’s spear move can disrupt Shang Tsung’s morphing and fireball attacks. Keep the pressure on!

Timing is everything! Watch for Shang Tsung’s fireball patterns and always block or dodge when you see them coming. Hit him hard when he's about to morph back to his original form.

If you're a Mortal Kombat player looking for extra coins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Mortal Kombat essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
