Honestly, just avoid shielded enemies until you can grab some better weapons or power-ups. There's no shame in living to fight another day.

Tactical tip: Aim for headshots. Shields block damage, but headshots deliver extra pain and drain the shield faster. Plus, it looks super cool!

Got grenades or explosives? Use 'em! Nothing says 'bye-bye shield' quite like a well-placed rocket or a few grenades. They'll break through that shield, no problem.

Hate to break it to you, but maybe try attacking from different angles. Out-maneuver your opponent, hit them hard, and make sure they can't just hide behind their shield while you do it.

Just keep shooting! Shields can't last forever, and if you keep the pressure on, they'll break eventually. Use weapons with high DPS (damage per second) like the Assault Rifle or SMG to quickly whittle them down.

If you're a Fortnite player looking for extra v-bucks, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Fortnite gift card, which you can win and use to get v-bucks essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
