PSA: RNG will mess with you. Always have a backup plan and keep some explosives handy for when things go south.
Stealth is key in the early missions. Move slowly, stay in cover, and try to ambush the aliens.
Mimic beacons are your best friend. Seriously, they provide invaluable distraction and cover during tough missions.
Use a balanced squad with a variety of classes. Make sure you always have a specialist with the medic protocol to keep your soldiers in fighting shape!
