Mash those buttons! Okay, seriously, press forward and the punch button right when Jax grabs. With practice, you'll get the timing down.

To break Jax's holds, you need to perform a throw escape by pressing forward and the appropriate punch button (mostly L1 or R1) just as he grabs you. Timing is key!

Don't overthink it. Just press forward and a punch button when Jax grabs. You got this!

If you're a Mortal Kombat player looking for extra coins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Mortal Kombat essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
