Just crank up the brightness in the game settings! Makes a world of difference.

Raise the in-game brightness and maybe switch to colorblind mode. It changes the color balance and can help with visibility.

Go to Settings > Graphics and increase the brightness. Also, try adjusting your TV's brightness and contrast settings.
