Yo, it's easier than it seems! Flatten some land, build a solid floor base, walls with beams, and top it all with a sloped roof. Don't overthink it!
In my experience, laying a stone foundation first can help with stability, especially if you're in a stormy area. After that, go wild with the wood beams and thatched roofing!
