Building a water purifier in Fallout 4 is pretty straightforward but needs a bit of prep. First, make sure you've got Science Perk rank 1 because that's a must. You'll also need some materials: 2 Oil, 2 Ceramic, 5 Rubber, 10 Steel, and a Power Source (like a small generator). Just find a spot of water in your settlement, open the workshop menu, navigate to Resources > Water, and select the type of purifier you want to build. Remember, it needs to be placed in water. Lastly, hook it up to power, and boom, you've got yourself a water purifier!

Just slap it in the water and plug it in. Make sure you have the materials and the Science Perk. Easy peasy.

Honestly, you don't really need a water purifier. Just drink from the rivers. Adds to the survival experience, you know?
