If you've unlocked the stonecutter (by mining or acquiring iron), then place it in your area. With the stonecutter in range, use 15 stone to build the hearth using your hammer.

Hearths rock because they provide a larger area of warmth and comfort in your base. Gather 15 stones, whip out your hammer, and place it where you want to feel toasty. Simple!

I struggled with this too! Make sure you have the stonecutter near. From there, it's just 15 stone and your trusty hammer. Bam! Cozy hearth.

Why bother with a hearth when a simple campfire does the trick? Hearths are for folks with an excessive stone surplus, I guess.

First, you need to gather 15 stone and a hammer. Once you got those, use the hammer to craft the hearth in your base. Easy peasy, right?
