Just make sure your friend doesn't already own the game, or it's gonna be a bit awkward. Steam won't let you gift games to someone who already has it.

Been gifting games on Steam for years, and honestly, it's one of the best ways to keep in touch with my online pals. Just follow the steps and make sure you've got enough in your Steam wallet!

Honestly, it's simpler just to send them a Steam gift card. Lets them choose what they want. No surprises ruined.

Super easy! Just head to the Steam store, find the game you wanna gift, and click on 'Add to Cart'. When you鈥檙e at the purchase for yourself or as a gift screen, choose 'Purchase as a gift'. Then, you can select your friend from your Steam friends list or enter their email address, and voila! You've just made your friend's day a bit brighter!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
