You can cancel Xbox Live by calling Xbox support. It's a bit old-school, but sometimes talking to a real person gets things done faster!

Open your web browser, go to account.microsoft.com, sign in, and navigate to Services & subscriptions. Find Xbox Live, click 'Manage,' and cancel from there.

From personal experience, I found it quickest to sign into my account on a computer, go to Services & subscriptions, and cancel Xbox Live there. No fuss!
