You can't capture Stalkers. Trust me, I tried everything! Just respect their space and they'll (mostly) leave you alone.
Don't waste time trying to capture Stalkers. Instead, just avoid them or use a propulsion cannon to push them away if they get too close.
Capturing a Stalker ain't possible in Subnautica, mate! But you can lure them with metal salvage if you want to get up close and personal.
