Just a heads up, cherry salmon can be a bit picky. They like to hang out on clifftop rivers as well as the usual spots. So, if you're not having luck at lower elevations, try your luck up high!

Honestly, it's all about luck and patience. Also, keep an eye on fish shadow sizes; cherry salmons are not too big or too small. Happy fishing!

Catching a cherry salmon in Animal Crossing is a fun task! You need to fish in rivers (not the ocean!) on your island. Cherry salmons are available in March through June and then again in September through November. They're around all day, so no need to worry about specific times. Equip your fishing rod, look for medium-sized fish shadows in the river, and when you see one, cast your line and wait for the fish to bite. Patience is key!

Not to burst your bubble, but it feels like finding a cherry salmon is more about luck than method. Keep at it, though!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
