Just walk on the beach and dig wherever you see water shooting out from the sand. It's all about luck!

Catching a giant clam in Animal Crossing isn't like catching fish or bugs. You won't use a net or a fishing rod. Instead, you gotta look for them on the beach. Walk along the beach and keep an eye out for little spurts of water shooting out from the sand. When you spot one, get your shovel out and dig! Sometimes, what you find will be a Manila clam, but keep trying, and you might just dig up that elusive giant clam.

Honestly, it's just luck. I've found more giant clams just by randomly digging on the beach than actually looking for those water sprouts. Keep at it, and you'll find one eventually!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
