Catching a hammerhead shark in Animal Crossing isn't just about luck; it's about timing! Make sure you're fishing during the summer months, from June to September if you're in the Northern Hemisphere, or December to March in the Southern Hemisphere. You'll only find these finned beauties in the sea, so head to the beach. Look for large fish shadows with fins; those are your targets. Remember to cast your line so the shadow is in front of the fish, and be patient. When the shark bites, it'll pull the bobber under - that's your cue to reel it in!

Just fish in the ocean during summer months. Look for big shadows with fins. EZPZ.

Honestly, just fish at night, especially in June. Less competition with other fish types. Got my hammerhead shark on my second try doing this!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
